The German automaker began its EV journey with its i brand of cars, and the company is looking to expand it going forward. Like the Tesla, the iX fits into the mid-size category and offers buyers a combination of performance, range and polarizing looks. The new models will be using what BMW calls ‘fifth-generation’ high-voltage batteries and battery modules which means they will have the most advanced technology available.
