4WD Land Rover Using Arduino (UI Designed on LabVIEW)


Project RK-1 is a 4WD all terrain robotic platform which runs on Arduino UNO using XBee wireless technology. The platform is operated using a GUI application written in LABview using LIFA. The user can maneuver the robotic platform in any direction up to a range of 100m. The GUI application can also control the speed of the platform which runs on two high torque motors powered by 12V lithium battery and controlled through L293D. The GUI application can also remotely switch on and off the power supply to the platform.

This project can be further modified and made into something more interesting especially if you are in your final year of engineering course and you are looking for a good project idea this could be your innovative project idea in which you make it more interesting by integrating more sensors or maybe a robotic arm and try to replicate Mars Rover. This will help you to get good recognition among your college peers and possibly good grades as well. The UI on LabVIEW can also be made more innovative since they are really customizable and you have computing power of your computer to carryout complicated calculations and run complex algorithms.
